Shantel is a native of Colorado and graduated from the Veterinary Technician program from the Community College of Denver. She has two fur-children who are a cat named Hazel and a Quarter horse named Luna. On her free time, she likes to go riding, take long drives in the mountains and eat her favorite food, chili cheese fries! Shantel works part-time at Northfield Veterinary Hospital and full time at a large veterinary ER in Denver. She admits animals are her whole life and she couldn’t be happier being a vet tech!
Peggy joined our team in Jan of 2017 pursuing her love of animals and veterinary medicine. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2001, with many of those years in ER. She graduated with her Bachelors degree in Biology from Metropolitan State University in 2006. Shortly after graduating she completed a zookeeper internship at the Denver Zoo. Peggy enjoys working with the great staff at Northfield Vet Hospital, meeting our clients and providing excellent care to our beloved pets.
Happy mom to “Luna” a Siberian husky and two cats “Genghis Khan” and “Tyler.”
When not working, Peggy loves to spend time with her husband, fur babies, family, and friends and in the great outdoors!
Holly has known that she wanted to work with animals since she was a little girl. It goes back to one specific pet her grandma had. She was an older white Boxer named Sarah who had cancer and wasn't able to walk well on her own. At age 7, Holly was helping her to go outside and go potty by trying to lift her hind up with a blanket or towel and assist in walking her. She also loved snow, so Holly would go outside and get bowls full of snow and bring them to her while she lay under a blanket with her and cuddle her. Holly's whole family knew at that point, she was meant to work with animals.
After only days of graduating high school in a small town called Big Piney, Wy, Holly left and moved to the
Denver area to give herself more opportunities for furthering her education in animal science. She was able to begin working in the field as a Veterinary Assistant for Banfield Pet Hospital. She finally found Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and was able to graduate and become a CVT. Holly has been in this field for 6 years and is still enjoying her journey.
When not at work, Holly spends most of her time with her husband Kyle and their two dogs Chester and Boomer. They enjoy many outdoor activities such
as hiking, camping and fishing. They also enjoy a simple lazy day indoors and watching movies.
